Christmas wishes are represented by the flight of one of Santa’s reindeer launching into the heavens. This is another in the series of five Mark Klaus, 2 sided, ornament and or tabletop pieces available in 2009. This majestic reindeer rises up above the forest on a journey to bring a new Christmas elf to the North Pole. A little boy rides his sled home and down the hill after finishing the snowman he made for Santa under the old oak at the top of the hill.

In back we find an elegantly sculpted miniature Santa in his office going over his list and letters from children with their wishes for Christmas. In front of this scene are 16 tiny toys from the 1960’s decorating the clouds. All this in an area small enough where you can almost cover it with a silver dollar.

As with all of Mark Klaus’ collection, the artwork is exquisite and can only be appreciated when looking at the real thing.
